Workation in Holland

New perspectives, familiar team feeling.

The week before last, we at savotex swapped our summer trip for something new: a workation in Holland! Five bungalows, surrounded by canals, three office dogs on board - and the whole team in one place for a week.

Even though we work well together digitally on a day-to-day basis, the personal interaction on site gave us new impetus: lots of spontaneous conversations, new perspectives on projects and an exchange across team boundaries that is sometimes neglected in everyday life. Especially when working with our customers, this helped us to think about topics differently and to initiate new ideas.

Of course, we didn't want to miss out on anything else:
🚲 a bike tour through the countryside,
🧗 a visit to the high ropes course,
🔥 and a barbecue together at the end of the day.

Our conclusion: work can take place anywhere - but real connection comes from spending time together.
